Cornell William Brooks, President and CEO of the National Association for
the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), the nation’s oldest, largest, and
most widely respected grassroots-based civil rights organization, visited Milwaukee
on Sunday, November 6, 2016. Brooks preached morning sermons at
Saint Mark’s AME Church,1616 W. Atkinson Ave., and addressed the congregation
at Greater Galilee Church, 2432 N. Teutonia Ave., about the importance
