St. Mark AME Church hosts the Geraldine Bradford Women’s Missionary Society annual weekend and prayer breakfast

On Saturday, March 23, 2019, St. Mark African Methodist Episcopal Church hosted the Geraldine Bradford Women’s Missionary Society (GBWMS) annual weekend and prayer breakfast at St. Mark Church, 1616 West Atkinson Ave.

The theme for the event was “Touchdown: The Church Universal Tackling Injustices Through Education and Empowerment,” and featured guest speaker the Honorable Judge Carl Ashley of Milwaukee County Circuit Court. The event served as a fundraiser for the Marguerite Johnson Book Scholarship.
